Ingrid is a private chef and small event caterer in Charlottesville, Virginia. Her culinary career began in Seattle working in James Beard award-winning restaurants following her graduation from New England Culinary Institute. She has been a professional chef for twenty-five years, and has worked as a private chef and cooking teacher in Charlottesville for the past fifteen years. For Ingrid, a well executed and complete dish has a balance of flavors, a contrast of textures, and a presentation that is both artful and natural. She enjoys creating seasonal menus inspired by local offerings and a client's unique requests.  Ingrid is a member of Slow Food USA, the Piedmont Environmental Council & Chefs Collaborative.
